Our Zero Selby’s Last Zero Hero Event

Our final Zero Hero event is taking place on Tuesday 16th December from 6.30-8pm at Portholme Church. Doors will open from 6.00 for refreshments before the talk starts at 6.30. 

This special evening will be your chance to celebrate success and hear directly from the Our Zero Selby team about the tangible, sustainable impact they've created in Selby over the past two years. You will look ahead and get the final updates on their crucial work and be the first to learn about their exciting future plans for continuing local sustainability efforts. Be Inspired as you learn how you can carry forward the momentum of the Zero Hero sessions and continue to be sustainable in your own lives.

Claire Hetherington explains: “We are proud to have created sustainable impact in Selby for the past two years and we couldn’t have done it without our enthusiastic and passionate residents. This Zero Hero event is all about celebrating them, giving them updates on our final few months, and discussing what comes next. We would love to see as many people there as possible who have been part of the programme over the years, and we hope that they will continue their sustainability journey with us.”

Whether you have been with Our Zero Selby for two months or two years, everybody is welcome- just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
